Physical Signal
A physical signal is an observation drawn from public physical and structural data — customs, power, filings, patents — rather than from news or share price.
NEUTAUR uses "physical signal" to mean a measurement taken from the physical and structural record of the economy: customs shipments, power-grid and interconnection data, regulatory filings, patents, and satellite observations. These sources describe what infrastructure and companies are physically doing, separate from market sentiment, rumor, or price movement.
What it is and is not
- It is a directional observation of public data, placed next to a company’s own reported financials.
- It is not a forecast, a price target, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.
- It is reported at the industry and aggregate level; NEUTAUR does not fabricate individual-company physical output.
